Open Question: Where can I buy cheap scrubs?
(Fri, 03 Sep 2010 18:15:32 GMT)
I have to get scrubs to wear to medical training (I think I was hired by an assisted living company, the lady didn't say I was officially hired, but she told me to come into training next Thursday!) and I was wondering where to get them for cheap? I think I should start out with 3 or 4 different outfits in case that I'm not officially hired.
I know Walmart sells them, but would it be cheaper and have more variety if I went to a uniform shop? I know of a flea market-type place that sells them

I was turning in a job application and a dollar store when I noticed a little poster that gave information and a website for an assisted living job. I put my application in online yesterday, and also went to the career center today since the ad said that they would be taking applications in person also. I was able to talk to the manager of the company and I think that I have a very good chance of being hired. I am not a CNA, but apparently they will put me through training enough to meet the c

I guess 99% of people believe in euthanasia for dogs if the dog is suffering and life is not going to improve for it. What about euthanasia in people? If it's perfectly ok to take a dog's life with its best interests as heart, why isn't euthanasia for people so - for want of a better word - common if the person is just existing and not living? Do you think humans have t

At school, I find myself frequently considered a ''nerd'' or a ''geek''. (Since I live in the U.K, ''geek'' is often a derogatory term but holds the same meaning of ''nerd''.) Anyhow - I shall get to my point. At first glance, you may consider me just that. I wear glasses, braces, (and I would not be considered as'pretty') I am either considered 'lanky' or 'thin' and I choose to dress more sophisticatedly. The latest 'fashion' trends do not appeal to me, nor do they suit me. I have participate

Resolved Question: Assistance for the elderly in the Chicago suburbs?
(Wed, 25 Aug 2010 04:34:48 GMT)

Resolved Question: Elderly assist programs?
(Tue, 24 Aug 2010 17:05:55 GMT)
My mother lives in the Chicago area and I live far away. She needs help with things- shopping, driving places, stuff like that. She doesn't want people looking around the house and trying to change things. Given the house is a dive and it's always been a bit of a pit, but hey she's 90 and has a dirty house, more power to her.
Where are the programs, where are the places? The Internet is a little overwhelming.

I forgot what it's called but my mom has it and she's been getting attacks (but not a full blown seizure like it's one where she feels it coming and she needs to try to fight it off or something) every single day and it's starting to worry me because she doesn't live anywhere near me and she lives almost 30 minutes away and I want to know if there's dogs that help with that kind of thing like the dogs that assist with blind people? Also will the dog have the same access like the blind assistin
