Open Question: How do you feel about How Illegal Aliens Hurt America’s Senior Citizens?
(Wed, 08 Sep 2010 02:28:25 GMT)
Much has been written about the harm that illegal aliens cause to Americans, legal aliens, hospitals, governments, and others in the U.S. In this article, I will explain some of the ways in which the millions of illegal aliens in America hurt America’s senior citizens.
A large percentage of people in America’s prisons are illegal aliens. Illegal aliens who are wanted for crimes in other countries prefer to be in America where crime is more lucrative and prisons have nicer accommodations.

Resolved Question: Is it legal for a baby to ride on a golf cart?
(Sat, 04 Sep 2010 21:33:14 GMT)
My parents are in a retirement community in FL, and they get around by golf cart. We are visiting my parents and am wondering if it is legal to hold the infants in the golf cart?
Obviously this is illegal in a car, but not sure what the law is on golf carts in Florida.
They will be 6 months old.
It isn't on a golf course, it is how they get around the entire retirement community.

Resolved Question: Is it worth it to become a neurosurgeon?
(Mon, 23 Aug 2010 00:41:09 GMT)
I'm pretty young to be thinking about my career and all, but neurosurgery fascinates me. I spoke to a family friend currently in residency to become a general surgeon and he laughed when I told him about my aspirations and told me I probably couldn't do it, considering the approximated 15 years of prior rigorous education and training in addition to the fact that the process is highly selective and I'd have to be the at the top of the class to do it.
My family agrees that I'm nuts for wanting

Resolved Question: What should I do about underwater home - mortgages?
(Sun, 22 Aug 2010 18:01:15 GMT)
I live in SW Florida where I owe $335,000 for a house surrounded by homes forecloure specialists are enjoying profits from selling at $125,000 (in much better condition than mine), and at least another thousand brand new unoccupied homes nearby. Flood insurance just became mandatory and rates went up.
I bought in '06, it was the best I could get then, but in very poor shape compared to the quality of currently available homes. It would take another $20,000 just to make it marketable to sell f

Resolved Question: How to kill the character in my story?

So im having trouble figuring out how this one character was murdered.
The character isnt a main character and is a old man in florida living in a retirement home. He dissapeared going on a walk with his dog and his body was found on the creek bed.
I want him to die in a humorous kind of way. But i dont mean like him having a battle axe in his head while wearing a clown costume. Something dark, a little eery and slightly funny. not laugh out loud funny just smart, dry funny. Like how the char

My retired parents live in Florida and that is their main residence. They recently bought a second house in Montreal and they stay there a couple months out of the year. They do not earn an income in Canada and the income they earn in the States is retirement benefits, etc They files taxes in FL but my father is concerned about having to pay taxes in Canada since they do live there part time. Would they have to pay taxes in the US as well as Canada? I think the Tax treaty prevents that, but I

Resolved Question: how come people sometimes answer with "You're Too Old"?
(Wed, 28 Jul 2010 01:43:58 GMT)
Sometimes I'll ask a question about liking women or something about fashion or whatever the hell I'm asking... pick a subject, any subject... and there's always an occasion where someone answers "You're too old for this s++t dude" or something like that. Why do they say that? Is it because they have an ego and think only the "young ones" can ask questions... or do they think "older" people have to give up what interests them and go lay in a retirement village in Florida?
Just asking.

Voting Question: Even though I am 22 and never had a job I feel ready to retire to Florida or California?
(Sat, 17 Jul 2010 22:07:48 GMT)
I just graduated in May and I want to retire. After 16 straight years of school I desire at least a 10 year break.
I want to go hang out with grandma and grandpa in Florida; play cards, play monopoly and clue, hang out at the beach/pool and just take it easy.
Maybe take home a few women here and there but for the most part just relax and enjoy the old folks. I love going to the casino so southern Cal. would be ideal to retire to. I can go to the San Diego zoo and spend a few weekends in Veg

Resolved Question: Does anyone know how many years you have to be married before property is considered joint in Florida?

I've been married to my husband for seven years. I owned a house when we married that we have since put in both of our names and invested a lot of money in to remodel. He owned a business which we made jointly ours. However, he demanded he wanted it back in his name two years ago so I signed it over just to keep peace. We own a couple of pieces of property, some retirement that is all in his name even though I have helped build it, and some savings. He has destroyed all of our joint credi

Well, he does not earn too much to begin with. Only 2.5K/month after taxes. He stays in Tallahasse, Florida where single people can survive on about 500/month by sharing an apartment which also reduces utility and internet bills. This is what most of his friends do, according to him who are single. Resolved Question: Don't the chances of the GOP of 'taking back both Houses' look rosy?
(Wed, 06 Jan 2010 03:44:15 GMT)
They are broke:
1. GOP cash woes threaten House bids
With the Republican Party on the cusp of major gains in the House next year — and with the dream of retaking the House appearing to be a real, if improbable, possibility — one major obstacle remains: tightfisted Republican incumbents.
http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1209/31077.html
2. They 'expect to gain' quite a lot of Democrat held non-incumbent seats, when reality says otherwise:
