- Open Question: AFL Trivia: Who am I?
(Tue, 10 Jun 2008 04:01:49 GMT)
Retirement coaching :
I haven't done a trivia thingy before so I thought I'd give it a shot...If you know your football then its a pretty simple one to start with. So go easy dammit!
I was born on Feb 19th, 1975. I played junior football for Pascoe Vale and later represented Metro Victoria in the Teal Cup. Following this in the same year (1992) I was drafted by Fitzroy. I made my debut against Essendon in 1993. I was part of the Brisbane/Fitzroy merger but would only play a handful of games before been traded to H

- Resolved Question: Knicks vs Pacers rivialry?
(Sun, 18 May 2008 04:30:12 GMT)
Retirement coaching :
where does this rivalry rank all time
During the 1990s, both the New York Knicks and the Indiana Pacers were perennial playoff teams. The Knicks, led by All-Star center Patrick Ewing, met with the Reggie Miller-led Pacers in the playoffs six times from 1993 to 2000, fueling a rivalry epitomized by the enmity between Miller and prominent Knicks fan Spike Lee. The bitter rivalry was likened by Miller to the Hatfield-McCoy feud[1], and described by The New York Times, in 1998 as being "as combu

Kobe Bryant: Better Teammate Than MJ?
Written on January 26, 2008 by Josh Tucker (The Apologist)
MJ is the greatest player to have ever played basketball, to date.
With that said, let me help you with those rose-colored glasses youâ??re probably wearing.
There are many misconceptions people have formulated regarding His Airness, the one and only Michael Jordan. One of these things is what kind of teammate he was.
To see this retroactive glorification of all things Michael Jordan, one nee
- Resolved Question: MLB guys after retirement?
(Fri, 02 May 2008 17:00:39 GMT)
Retirement coaching :
What do MLB guys do after retiring from baseball? Coach? Manager? Actor? Please tell me their typical future after MLB.
One interesting point in your answers is that some of them just golf and do not have a job.
In my country, Japan, people, or men are always required to work until 60. So even if someone has millions and does not have to work for living, he is required to work or others will look down upon him.
I have not heard of many baseball guys in Japan who do not work after retiring

(Wed, 09 Apr 2008 21:01:28 GMT)
Retirement coaching :
The question has been brought up many times about whether or not Packers GM Ted Thompson was wise or foolish in not trying harder to accomidate Favre coming back. Why didn't he try to bring established weapons to the team, especially Randy Moss? Brett said it best at his retirement conference, at his age and experience anything short of another Super Bowl win would be a failure. I personally feel that Thompson is doing what's best for the Pack in the long run. Let's face it, even if there

I think I would go with Steve Nash. Besides all the MVP's blah, blah, blah. The guy is like a modern Pistol Pete to me, with the ability to do everything asked on the court depending on what the team needs...I would love to

- Resolved Question: Brett Farve, Peyton Manning, and Tom Brady.?
(Thu, 10 Jan 2008 23:12:30 GMT)
Retirement coaching :
Arguably the top 3 QB's of the past decade. When its all said and done for those three, who do you think will be considered the best?
Here are the Pro's for each:
Farve: Will probably have all major QB records in his possession before retirement, and its highly possible that he wins a second super bowl.
Manning: Many would agree that there has never been a player or coach who sees the field better than Peyton. He has a super bowl ring and will probably break all of Farve's records.
Brady:

Retirement coaching :
There have been a lot of coaching changes in the NFL from last season to this one...and even some during the season. In your opinion, what coaching shift has been the most beneficial for the team?
This can include hiring a new coach after a retirement, a coach quitting, or a coach being fired.
Also, what coaching change has been most detrimental for the team?
- Resolved Question: Congrats to Avery Johnson on getting his jersey retired with the Spurs. Does he deserve it?
(Mon, 24 Dec 2007 03:58:51 GMT)
Retirement coaching :
I know that he wasn't a spectacular offensive player during his career, but he did do a lot for the community and was an integral part of the Spurs.
I know there are gonna be people that say his jersey shouldn't up in the AT&T Center because he coaches the Mavs now, but I don't see any problem with that. The jersey retirement is for his on the court accomplishments and what he, as a person and player, has meant to the Spurs and San Antonio in general.
