- Resolved Question: I think there's a conspiracy against me?
(Tue, 10 Jun 2008 03:21:15 GMT)
Texas retirement :
I became unemployed/retired November 2007. I applied for unemployment insurance benefits. They denied it and I appealed. I won the appeal. Within one week of me winning my appeal I had the California Franchise Tax board investigating my past filing claims. Funny thing is I was a Texas resident during the years they were investigating. They claimed I should have submitted a tax return and I said WHY?!?!?! I'm a TX resident!!!
Anyways, when I beat those bastards the Federal Government s
- Resolved Question: help me with owner financing contract i am doing my self?
(Tue, 03 Jun 2008 16:33:38 GMT)
Texas retirement :
I need help from someone who knows what they are doing. I have a mobile home(I owe 23k) and it sits on an acre(I owe 15k). I have a lady wanting to finance it. She is putting 25k down on it but it will be one month after she moves in because she is changing jobs and she has to cash out her retirement after quit date. It is in the state of Texas. We will take the 25k and pay off the house(23k) and it will leave 13k that we owe on land. She is paying us 5% interest for 5 years and she is paying
- Resolved Question: my ex and I were married for 8 years; Am I entitled to millitary retirement pay?
(Mon, 02 Jun 2008 22:57:35 GMT)
Texas retirement :
We were married and divorced in Texas, a community property state.
I am not one of those type of women trying to milk my ex-husband. I am a professional and make pretty good money. My ex has retired without a plan in place to make money so he has convinced my 16 old son to come live with him, therefore now I have to pay him child support. Don't mind paying support but I truly believe he is only doing it for the money. This is no doubt the plan he has put in place to suppliment his income.

- Resolved Question: When can I retire? I am a Texas Teacher.?
(Tue, 27 May 2008 16:10:47 GMT)
Texas retirement :
I have finished my 3rd year teaching. I am 24 years old. I know I still have a long way to go but I have no idea how the teacher retirement goes. Can I retire when I am a certain age only or do the years teaching count? Thank you very much for your input!
- Resolved Question: Why would anyone who considers themselves American vote Republican this year?
(Tue, 27 May 2008 15:18:14 GMT)
Texas retirement :
Yesterday there was a story in the local news about a local soldier on third tour of Iraq who shot himself on patrol in 2007. A Master Sgt., no less. These long tours on such a small military are breaking it. In 2007, 150 troops committed suicide in Iraq. Beating the war drum does not work with me any more. Bush and Cheney never went to war. the Iraq war will go down in our history as one of the worst of stragtic blunders. We are bribing people with sky high bonus offers or the offer of citize
- Resolved Question: Why does Petty Enterprises want Terry Labonte to come out of retirement?
(Wed, 21 May 2008 18:47:25 GMT)
Texas retirement :
At Texas in the fall of 2006, I thought that was Terry's final Cup race, and he said it himself that he wasn't going to run anymore races.
I think they should get John Andretti or Ricky Craven to fill for Kyle Petty during those races.
- Resolved Question: Running Away to California?
(Wed, 21 May 2008 16:47:57 GMT)
Texas retirement :
Hello, i am a 14 year old high school freshmen guy who lives in Chicago. I am really depressed and need to get out of the situation i'm in. I asked my parents if we could move but they said no, basically because of retirement issues. i really don't care about that. so i decided to runaway. I am typing on the school computer right now. I want to go to California, maybe Anaheim or Los Angeles but i don't know what exactly to do. First thing i don't want any anwsers say i shouldn't do this. So i
- Resolved Question: What are some good motorcycle friendly retirement areas?
(Tue, 20 May 2008 15:43:21 GMT)
Texas retirement :
I'm thinking about retiring within the next five years and I want to make sure that wherever I end up has an active and friendly Harley atmosphere. I'll likely have to move out of northern california since my property taxes alone are over $27k per year and I'm thinking I'll need the excess cash from the sale of my homes to retire comfortably. I'd like a place where like-minded bikers can get together, take rides and discuss all the new Harley trends (bikes, clothing, parts, etc.). Has to be
- Resolved Question: Western Movie Help!?
(Tue, 13 May 2008 12:07:42 GMT)
Texas retirement :
I'm looking for the movie title; western of a federal marshall or maybe texas ranger that is in his last few days before retirement. Some guy familiar to him keeps getting him into one dilema or confrontation after the other. He just wants to retire but has to do his job. Not any of the Trinity movies. I believe that it was in color. 70's-80's
- Voting Question: My uncle passed away, but left no will. His brother is the beneficiary of insurance policies and retirement.?
(Tue, 06 May 2008 00:39:54 GMT)
Texas retirement :
My uncle was to pay for the opening and closing of grave site, but has not. Now they are going after my father for payment. My father took his brother (deceased) in to care for him, since nobody else would, but nothing was in writing. Uncle who passed away had the funeral paid for by an insurance policy for that reason. When my father handed over insurance policy to my uncle (who was named as beneficiay), he told my father he would pay the bill. At the time of making arrangements, my fat
